FAQs

What Is Herbal Medicine?

Herbal medicine is the art and science of skillfully collecting, preparing, and using plants and fungi to promote health, prevent and treat illness. Medicinally, an herb is any plant part or plant used for its therapeutic value. Herbal medicine is at the root of humanity’s great healing traditions and is still the most widely used system of medicine in the world today.

Do herbs work with other modalities?

Yes. Herbal plant medicines support and nurture our body’s innate healing capacity, called Vitalism. Botanicals and Mushrooms can work in conjunction with other health care modalities to promote an integrative and complementary health care program. Herbalism is preventative therapy and support your body through acute situations and in chronic dis-ease.
