Herbs and Practical Lifestyle Tools

for Nervous System Flexibility

Support your body-mind-spirit in a rapidly changing world

Anxious Mind? Winter Blues? Heart palpitations? Digestive upset? It is a common misconception to think that there is such a thing as a specific “depression herb”. Did you know that there can be more than 14 underlying causes of depression and 11 roots to anxiety? Inflammation, blood sugar dysregulation, seasonal changes and GI tract imbalance can be a few root causes. Then there’s the overwhelm from living in late-stage racialized capitalism, politics, pandemic, access to care, climate catastrophes, work and navigating relationships.

Our nervous, immune, and digestive systems are inseparable from our emotional, psychological, spiritual, and social lives. And not everyone can take a vacation or retreat to reset our nervous system. Appropriate herbs can pinpoint specific underlying root causes to provide lasting shifts towards more calm, stable, centered, and resilient ways of being amidst life’s triggers.

I will be providing info about well researched herbs and mushrooms that are easily accessible (some can even be found in our kitchen spice racks) – specifically nervines, adaptogens, nootropics, digestives, and psychedelics.

Individuals both new and versed in herbal medicines are welcome here, for those who are seeking more tools for navigating these ever changing and challenging times that we’re living in. We’re who we’ve been waiting for!
